**Description:**

Embark on an interstellar journey as an intrepid astronaut navigating through perilous levels filled with deadly traps and enemies. Master the use of movement controls (AWSD), execute jumps and double jumps (SPACE), and pause the game anytime (ESC). Collect valuable power-ups, including gravity inverters, to defy the laws of physics and overcome obstacles.

**Features:**

- **Intuitive Controls:** Use AWSD keys for movement, SPACE for jumps, and ESC to pause.

- **Double Jump:** Execute precise double jumps to reach higher platforms and evade danger.

 - **Checkpoints:** Save your progress at designated checkpoints to avoid restarting from the beginning.

 - **Extra Lives:** Accumulate extra lives to survive deadly encounters and hazards

 - **Gravity Inverter Pickup:** Collect gravity inverters to toggle gravity and access hidden areas.

- **Challenging Enemies:** Encounter hostile alien creatures and overcome them with your skills.

- **Deadly Acid Pools:** Beware of corrosive acid pools that instantly end your journey upon contact.

Embark on this thrilling adventure, explore distant planets, and overcome daunting challenges to become the ultimate space explorer!

This is my first 2D platform game project, created during the game design specialization course at Michigan State University.

I developed more solid knowledge in: 2D Animation, TileMap editing, physics and Colliders, enemy and platform movement intelligence, checkpoints, door and key system, power-ups, UI, debugging extensive code.

The project is not completed, because the scoring system remained to be managed, but as it is something I am already familiar with, I chose to use the time to explore new resources and tools. So, you will see that the scoring system is incomplete, but for a good reason :)

This is because I made some implementations of my own initiative, including gravity inversion, enemy management in the inverted world and camera rotation.

It was a great creative and technical challenge to make this resource work, considering my little experience and knowledge, after all, this was my first Platform2D project and my third game made during the course. But I love challenges!
